Rhum Academy of Music

About Us

Rhum Academy is located in downtown Kokomo on Superior St. across from Foster Park. We are a music and art school with a holistic approach to teaching. Our teachers offer lessons on guitar, piano, voice, drums, violin, painting, drawing and more! Our goal is to create a community of artists and musicians of all ages and skill levels, where creativity, expression, performance, and musicianship are encouraged and developed. To help accomplish this we host monthly student concerts in our professional performance hall. Our CEO, Sami Soutar Lightsey, is passionate and knowledgeable about both music and art. She is happy to assist anyone looking to become a student at the Academy to pair you or your child with the teacher who can best help you reach your goals.
