Ribbon Cutting: Practical Assessment Exploration System with Kokomo Area Special Education Cooperative

Join the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce as we Kokomo Area Special Education Cooperative (KASEC) and the opening of a new PAES (Practical Assessment Exploration System) Lab located at Taylor High School with a official ribbon cutting at 2:00 p.m. and an open house until 4 p.m.

This exciting new lab supports students ages 18–22 with special needs who are enrolled in the INVEST Program, providing hands-on opportunities to explore vocational interests and build real-world skills. The PAES Lab is designed to help students identify strengths, develop workplace behaviors, and gain practical experience that prepares them for greater independence beyond school.

The mission of the INVEST Program is to provide authentic vocational training and life skills development that empowers students to transition confidently into adulthood. We are thrilled to celebrate this investment in students, education, and the future workforce, and we invite the community to join us as we officially open this impactful new space.
