MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTION PANEL DISCUSSION

Are you a business owner or human resources professional wanting to know more about mental health and drug addiction treatment options available in the Kokomo community? If so, join the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance for a panel discussion about the mental health concerns in our community as well as available treatment options and resources.

Panelists will include representatives of local mental health service providers, non-profits, health care providers and navigators, and addiction counseling service providers. The panel will also identify the challenges our community faces in ongoing efforts to decrease drug addiction.

The 2018 Community Health Needs Assessment found that behavioral health/substance abuse is the No.1 health concern in Howard County. Furthermore, local respondents identified substance abuse prevention and treatment as the most inportant health services in the community.

The panel will take questions from those in attendance, but questions must be submitted in advance. Questions should be submitted when registering by typing in the "Comment" section of the registration form.
