September 2020 topic: Transformation Journey: From Individual Contributor to a Person of Influence
Lori Hoback, Senior Professional, World Class Manufacturing Academy - Indiana Lead will share the keys to her transformation journey into a person of influence. Her approach includes:
- Learn It, Earn It, & Practice It.
- Do you feel like you could never be a person of influence? We will discuss some steps you can take and tools you can use to help you step away from that "I could never" attitude.
- Influence doesn't come automatically with leadership or with position, but it is something you can nurture and grow!
About our speaker: Lori Hoback was appointed Lead for the World Class Manufacturing Academy in Indiana in August 2015. She is responsible for the start-up and implementation of a satellite location of the Company's innovative training center in Warren, Michigan. Prior to this position, Hoback was responsible for the strategic business planning in the Powertrain Division. Hoback has worked at FCA US (formerly Chrysler Group) since 1996.
Lori and her husband Sam have four children. Sam is proud to continue a generations-long family business farming in Central Indiana. Sam and Lori love to watch their children in sports activities and enjoy camping, boating, and traveling together.
Community is important to Lori. She volunteers in the Tipton 4-H organization, leads the Jubilee Christmas activities in her church, helps drive women's mentoring activities, and is involved in United Way. Lori is excited to begin a new opportunity serving on the Board of Directors for Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.
