Our speakers will explain the benefits of getting certified either federally, nationally or in the State of Indiana? Learn how to become certified, why it can benefit your business, how you can get special contracts because of the certification, and what you can do with those certifications.
 
About the speakers:
Margot Dorfman is the CEO of the US Women's Chamber of Commerce. Margot Dorfman is a visionary leader who has dedicated herself to promoting the economic and leadership interest of women. Her extensive background in business, business ownership, publishing and nonprofit leadership has prepared Ms. Dorfman to set the vision for the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce (uswcc.org). She is frequently called upon to provide expert testimony on behalf of women and America's small businesses before the U.S. House and Senate and regularly provides keen insights on women’s personal and business economic interests at conferences across the U.S. The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce is a uniquely respected and influential national trade association promoting the advancement of women in work and business. Using a platform of influence, innovation, and opportunity, the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce works with and for its members to grow successful businesses and careers.
 
Sally Rutledge-Ott is the owner of Ottsie, LLC, a dual business. Sally holds Federal, National and State certifications for Nonprofit Development and Construction Supply. She holds US Copyrights on Legal Policies and Procedures for nonprofit organizations.

About Educate & Elevate Series: These sessions are provided free to members by the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce for professional development and enrichment purposes. Topics vary for each session and include subjects such as: marketing, SEO, customer service, leadership, human resources (HR), small business legal, social media, time management, local issues, security, and more.
