Join the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce for a City of Kokomo update to the business community by Mayor Tyler Moore.

Business Matters Luncheons are an opportunity for business leaders to come together to hear about important topics or to hear from community leaders. These luncheons are held throughout the year and provide a valuable space for chamber members to network over a lunch hour and participate in critical community conversations.

Registration: Please register no later than October 12 by 5 p.m. Registration will be limited to the first 100 guests. Tables will only hold six guests. Once you have a seat, we ask that you keep this selection to follow safety guidelines. Walk-ins for the event will not be available due to the limited number of seats.

Special Considerations: A mask will be required to enter the event. Once seated at your table, you can remove your mask if you feel comfortable to do so. We do ask that you put it back on if you stand up and leave your table. We suggest you bring your own name tag as we will not be offering them at the luncheon.

Lunch: Lunch will be served to attendees. Lunches will be packaged by Elite Banquet prior to the event and placed at each seat. Water and lemonade will be available in bottles.  If you have food allergies, please let Linda Wilson know by October 13 at LWilson@greaterKokomo.com.

Who can attend? Business Matters Luncheons are open to the entire business community with chamber members receiving a discount on their attendance.

About our speaker: Tyler O. Moore is the 35th Mayor of the City of Kokomo, Indiana. Before being elected Mayor in 2019, Moore previously served as a Howard County Commissioner for 11 years. Moore worked at Moore Title & Escrow as the company’s Escrow Manager since 1998.

Moore is a 1989 graduate of Kokomo High School and studied at The University of Notre Dame.  He graduated from Notre Dame in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Moore worked in the South Bend/Elkhart area for five years before heading back to Kokomo to work at his family-owned business, Moore Title & Escrow.

He has been active in the Kokomo/Howard County community by participating in a number of committees and social organizations such as United Way, Kokomo Early Risers Rotary, Realtors Association of Central Indiana, Knights of Columbus, Literacy Coalition of Howard County, Mental Health Association of Howard County and Homebuilders Association of Howard County.  Prior to his time in political office, Tyler served on a number of Indiana Land Title Association (ILTA) committees, was selected for the ILTA Board of Governors from 2003-2009 and was ILTA President in 2008.

Moore is the oldest son of five children to Richard and Margaret Moore and is the great-great-great-great-grandson of Miami Indian Chief Jean Baptiste Richardville—after whom Howard County was first named and great-great-great-great-nephew of Chief Little Turtle.

Tyler has been married to his wife, Ann, for 19 years and is the proud father of 5 children: Claire, Jacob, Emma, Joseph and Owen.  Tyler and his family are members of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kokomo, where he has served on the Parish Council, taught Sunday Religious Education classes and mentored small groups for high school youth ministry for years.
