Speaker: Bill Hunt

 A native of Kokomo, Bill Hunt graduated from IU Bloomington with a bachelor's degree in government in 1966 and a law degree from the Maurer School of Law in Bloomington in 1969.  Hunt is the chairman of Hunt Capital Partners, LLC, a venture capital and consulting firm based in Indianapolis. Indiana University has benefited greatly from Bill's exceptional business acumen and advice.

He has served or currently serves as chair of the Clarian Health Partner, Inc. Board of Directors, a member of the IU Foundation Board of Directors, IUPUI Board of Advisors, Maurer School of Law Board of visitors, the Kelley school of Business Dean's Council, the Well House Society, the 1820 Society and recently served as chairman of the Advancing Indiana economic development initative and as chair of the Maurer School of Law fund raising campaign.

Bill has been unwavering in his dedication to IU Kokomo and the surrounding community.  Hunt Hall was made possible by a generous gift to the campus from Bill and Nancy Hunt, and is named in honor of Bill's parents Elizabeth and Virgil.  Bill's father, Virgil Hunt, became the first leader of IU's Extension Center in Kokomo in 1945.

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM
The IU Kokomo Master of Business Administration program, established in 1991, is designed to meet the needs of working professinals and employers in north central Indiana for high quality graduate management education.  IU Kokomo's M.B.A. program fosters effective management of resources in diverse organizational units and settings.  Attuned to the regional industry base, the M.B.A. program focuses especially on managing in a changing environment.
