Jury Information:
All participants must make their own merchandise. Reproductions are permitted but no reselling of mass-produced items. This event is open to all mediums of art and fine craft items that are of original design.
The participants in this show will be chosen by a jury. The jurors will view the four images, the product description and artist statement. We hope to create a well-rounded show with quality workmanship through an anonymous jurying process. The objective of which is to select artwork that is unique, representative of a broad range of media, and that demonstrates creativity and originality in concept, design, and execution. Every category and style of work is balanced intentionally for a fair amount of competition between artists and the overall variety and appeal of the festival to customers. The jury is composed of festival committee members and Indiana artists. The number of exhibitors in each category and selection of exhibitors shall be determined by the jury. Once the festival is full, a wait list will be kept. Immediately following the jury process, artists will be invited to participate in the festival. Artists will then have a week to accept the invitation and confirm their participation in the festival by Tuesday, May 5th. Information on parking, exact booth location and other festival information will be sent to you via email Wednesday, May 25th.
Digital Images for Jury Process
Four images are to be submitted for each application entered by the artist. Three of these will be comprised of individual pieces of the artist's work, with the fourth image being of a booth or display of the artist’s work. Only artwork similar to the work in the three images of individual pieces may be exhibited at the festival.
Because the artist’s work is being judged by the submitted images, it is recommended that quality photographs be submitted. All four submissions are reviewed and considered equally.
Eligibility and Reproduction Policy
The Festival Committee reserves the right to refuse exhibition of work not consistent with the quality of submitted photos and these guidelines. Artists may not exhibit work purchased from other artists for resale.
Artists can display only the items for which they were juried (items in 3 photos). Artists are not permitted to sell items they have not been juried in for.
Art Market Rules
1. All work must be original, handcrafted work produced within the last 3 years. Artists guarantee the accuracy of the description of the works presented and the authenticity of the work as the creation of their own hands.
