About Us

The Hobson is a unique, inclusive and elegant venue in downtown Kokomo, IN. The Richardsonian Romanesque style building was built in 1893, and has undergone an intricate, stunning renovation. The third floor now houses the breathtaking two-story ballroom, holding up to 175 guests. The handsomely-constructed bar connects the ballroom to the lounge area, adorned with vintage-inspired William Morris wallpaper and elegant brass fixtures.

The Hobson has created dedicated luxury spaces for the wedding parties to relax and prepare for the big day. One suite is lit by a stunning Swarovski chandelier and features a three-person vanity and a floor to ceiling mirror, while the second suite has dark leather furniture and a big screen TV. The Hobson has a private pergola tucked against the stone exterior of the building, a perfect spot for a first look or small outdoor ceremony.
