Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall agency recruitment, specifically Caregiver for Developmentally Disabled positions. Provide employment support while working in conjunction with development department for marketing and community outreach. Must network within community to bring quality employees to the organization. Become familiar with each position within the agency and accurately describe open positions to the public with the intent to recruit for the agency. Coordinate and participate in recruitment/career fairs, and network with community, industry contacts and current employees for recruitment efforts. Host and/or participate in at least one recruiting event and hang flyers within community monthly. Post open positions on job boards, college boards, community boards, social media, etc. Host Virtual Job Fairs on social media. Maintain and track records of all recruitment efforts: fairs, posts, interested parties, etc. and use data for future events. Create and/or modify recruiting materials in conjunction with the development department. Give presentations to groups and/or colleges to increase awareness of the company before/after career fairs. Research and recommend new sources for employee staff recruiting. Maintain referral program with current employees. Implement programs in a timely fashion. Display overall commitment to the agency's mission, values and vision while maintaining a positive and professional image during the recruitment of new staff. Work cooperatively with coworkers and accept other duties as assigned by supervisor. Portray a positive attitude and professional appearance when recruiting for the agency. Promote agency philosophies generating team spirit, creating and maintaining an environment that fosters employee satisfaction. Be active in community events that may take place outside of normal business hours. Attend/request related training as authorized.


Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business preferred, High School Diploma required. Possess and maintain a clear criminal record. Maintain a valid Indiana's driver's license, insurance on personal vehicle (minimum of PLPD w/medical liability coverage), and maintain insurability as defined by the agency liability insurance carrier. Must have ability to use personal transportation to travel to a variety of locations. Must have demonstrated skills in Microsoft Word programs, word processing and possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Dress appropriately as defined by agency and department dress codes. Must have outstanding skills in regards to planning, organizing and marketing. Must have flexible schedule when recruitment efforts are scheduled on weekends and/or evenings.
