Be the first contact for the Paths to Quality program for child care providers in Adams, Blackford, Fulton, Grant, Howard, Huntington, Jay, Miami, Tipton, Wabash, and Wells counties. Support the philosophy, mission, and vision of the agency and the Child Care Resource and Referral. Conduct child care referrals with families searching for child care and adhere to policies set forth by the CCRR system. Provide support and technical assistance to individuals seeking to open a licensed or regulated child care program. Collaborate with CCRR staff to provide a cohesive support to the communities that we serve. Provide proper documentation and communication to CCRR staff. Submit monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports by assigned deadlines. Become well-versed in the NACCRRAware computer software. Maintain hard copy of provider files. Recruit child care providers to participate in the Paths to Quality system. Speak with community members regarding quality child care. Work independently, as well as in group situations. Travel to Child Care Resource and Referral regional training sites, as well as other related trainings and conferences. Must be able to travel, with personal transportation, within Adams, Blackford, Grant, Howard, Huntington, Jay, Fulton, Miami, Tipton, Wabash, and Wells counties and attend local and out-of-state training as required. Must be proficient in word processing and other computer programs. Able to manage time and multiple caseloads efficiently.
Bachelor's Degree in Early Education; Child Development; Consumer and Family Sciences; Marketing; or Business Communication, with at least 12 credit hours of Early Childhood Education coursework. Experience: Two years of working in project management or early childhood education. Maintain a valid Indiana driver's license and insurability as defined by the agency liability insurance carrier, and ability to travel within the Service Delivery Area/Statewide. Able to complete all data entry and data reporting accurately and in a timely fashion. Expertise in word processing and database programs required. Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Must possess a pleasing personality and ability to establish and maintain rapport with providers, families, and staff. Must be capable of representing the Child Care Resource and Referral program and agency in a positive manner.
